Pastors Darrell and Marcia Chambers are “shepherds that smell like the sheep”. With a heart of humility and love for God’s people, they believe they should not ask the people to do anything that they wouldn’t do. They are a dedicated, committed couple to the service of the Kingdom of God. They started their journey together at Offutt Air Force Base Nebraska. Each served our country for 20 years and are now retired veterans of the US Air Force. They have two children and three grandchildren. They are servant leaders, following the example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Their desire is to extend the love of God to all by preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Minister Agnes Vaughn is cheerful, young at heart, caring and always strives to be optimistic. Her mission is of service to God’s people: speaking of God’s mercy, favor and grace; being the hand, the voice, the shoulder to lean on, to cry on. She spent 20 years as a Trainer of corporate Claim Adjusters. She is a single Mother of two adult children and one grandchild.
Minister Beverly White appropriately balances extravert and introvert personality traits. She has served in the children ministry, and currently uses her God given gift of prayer and discernment along with listening closely, being patient, non-judgmental, flexible, and firm. She has 20 years in real estate with a client focus that is dedicated to exceeding excellence. She is married with six adult children.
Minister Terrence White is friendly and loves to help others. He has given years of service as a youth minister, provided service to the prison ministry, and conducted outreach efforts towards widows and single moms. He recently completed 23 years in the US Air Force as an Engineer plus ten years doing computer maintenance. He is married with six adult children.
Deacon Anna Alexis has a caring and loving personality who loves cooking. Her ministry is to serve God’s people by planning events to worship our Lord and break bread. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Deacon Anna exhorts and is willing to help those who need a mature person’s advice. She owned an Auto dismantling business for 13 years and retired from a position with the casino. She is married with seven children, numerous grandchildren and a dog named Leo.
Deacon Ted Alexis was born the first son in a military family of seven who moved a lot. He learned to get along with people everywhere. He served in the U.S. Army, retired from A.T.T.; worked as assistant Chief Engineer in a Casino, and retired later from a high rise in Sacramento. His ministry is to serve God and God’s people by providing a safe, comfortable place to assemble and worship. He is married in a blended family with seven children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is blessed to be placed in such a loving caring ministry.
Deacon Gregory DeCastro retired MSgt from the United States Air Force, proudly serving our nation for over two decades. A dedicated Deacon since 1999, committed to guiding and uplifting the congregation. Passionate about serving God’s people through the love and teachings of Christ. Living a life devoted to faith, community, and compassion.
Mother Oberia Rice brings the gift of wisdom, from years of dedication, worship, study, and prayer. Her motto of life is to daily ask our Lord what He would have her do in His name for everyone. She is from New York, is a retired Government employee, and has four biological children with three grandchildren, four adopted children with four grandchildren.
Mo Cruthird is willing to offer a helping hand. He lived in a military culture as a child. Although he retired from a career in the military, he currently works for the military as a civilian. He has two adult children and one grandchild. The words he lives by are: “to everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1).”
Dr. Winnie LaNier has an inspirational personality with insight and humor. She is a motivational speaker and event coordinator with a doctorate in leadership development. She embodies the principles of servant leadership. Her motto for being supportive is that she’d rather be the wind beneath your wings than the hurricane you’re flying into. She is married and has four adult children
with numerous grandchildren.
